This policy explains how Creative Den Digital (“Creative Den Digital”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit this website or contact us. We apply the same standard to everyone, wherever they are, in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA) and, where it applies, the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Who is responsible for your information
Creative Den Digital is the data controller for personal information described in this policy. You can reach us about privacy at any time at contact@creativedendigital.com.
What we collect
- Information you send us. Our contact form does not store anything on this website. It opens your own email app with your message ready to send, so we only receive what you choose to email us: typically your name, email address, organisation and message.
- Technical information. Like all websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested and time of request) to keep the site secure and running.
We do not set cookies for visitors, use advertising trackers, sell personal information or build marketing profiles from website visits. See our Cookie Notice.
How and why we use it
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Replying to your enquiry and discussing a possible engagement | Your consent and steps taken at your request before entering a contract |
| Delivering services to clients | Performance of a contract |
| Keeping the website secure and preventing misuse | Our legitimate interests |
| Meeting legal, tax and regulatory obligations | Legal obligation |
Confidentiality
Client relationships with Creative Den Digital are exclusive and confidential. We do not disclose who we work with, or any information shared with us in the course of an enquiry or engagement, without permission.
Who we share it with
Only with trusted service providers who help us run our business (for example, website hosting and email), under contracts that require them to protect it, and with authorities where the law requires it. We never sell or rent personal information.
International transfers
Some of our providers may process information outside Nigeria or your own country. Where that happens we rely on safeguards recognised by the NDPA and GDPR, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are kept for no longer than 24 months. Client records are kept for the length of the engagement and afterwards only as long as the law requires. Server logs are kept for a short period set by our host.
Your rights
You may ask us to give you a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or move it to another provider, and you may withdraw consent at any time. Email contact@creativedendigital.com and we will respond within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC), or, in the EU or UK, to your local data-protection authority.
Security
This website is served over an encrypted connection, loads no third-party fonts or trackers, and is kept up to date. Access to client information is limited to the people who need it.
Children
Our services are for organisations and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the date shown above.
